Uncle Rob was the pet of a senior lady who lived alone. When she passed away, her children began clearing her home, and they arranged for Uncle Rob to be put to sleep.
Saving Uncle Rob
A rescuer heard about it and tried to discourage the lady's children. However, they claimed that Uncle rob is “smelly” and will proceed with their decision. The rescuer decided to foster Uncle Rob so that he did not have to die. As expected, being a senior cat, there was no interest at all. Uncle Rob is a wise old cat and seems to understand what is going on.
After he arrived at the rescuer's place, he was very depressed and refused to eat or drink. Since the chance of him finding a home is very slim, we decided to invite Uncle Rob to live with us.
Interestingly, when the rescuers informed him, he cheered up immediately and began eating.
Uncle Rob has a home
When Uncle Rob arrived, all the cats welcomed him and he became very close to Kenry and Mandy. Later, when Bobo came, he also became very good friends with Bobo. Uncle Rob hangs out with Kenry while Mandy loves to groom Uncle Rob. Uncle rob also enjoys snuggling with Bobo.
It is extremely easy to care for Uncle rob. He is easy going, affectionate and very adorable. Contrary to the ex-owners claims, Uncle Rob is not smelly at all.
We love Uncle Rob
We are so proud to be able to care for him. On his 18th birthday, we decided to surprise him by having him as the model for the new Gold-D tuna and seabream for senior cats.
It is our way to let him know that many people love him and being abandoned is not his fault!
From a cat who is almost killed to becoming a model, Uncle Rob has come a long way, and everyone is so happy for him! |
