Gold-D Puree Campaign

Appealing for Gold-D Puree treats.

This is a treat but useful to rescuers to mask medication. Some cats do not allow rescuers to medicate them and will resist. If the medicine is concealed in the puree, they can very quickly swap it the cat’s mouth.

For antibiotics like doxycycline, rescuers need to push some water, or it may burn the throat. But when masked it with puree, it is being swallowed easily.

Medicating an aggressive cat can result in scratches. If the scratch is deep, it can cause infections and may require surgery and hospitalization. By masking the medication with puree treats, this can be avoided.

It may be a treat, but it can save lives, the cat’s life, and the rescuer’s life.

We are appealing the treat for rescuers in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Burma.
