Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a common infectious disease among cats. While it can adversly affect a cat’s immune system and health, proper care and a loving home can make a great difference.

FIV+ cats can live with non FIV cats if they are not aggressive and do not fight.

We have rescued and adopted many FIV cats. It is a subject that many potential adoptors are concern and even worry about. That is why we have decided to produce this issue on FIV.

Let us use real rescue cases including many of our FIV+ cats to show why FIV+ cats can lead happy and good quality lives.

We are against casual PTS of FIV+ cats. We believe they should be cared for and loved till they passed away.

Creating awareness and sharing information is the best approach for FIV+ cats. This way, owners and adoptors can take necessary precaution while caring for FIV+ cats.

It will mean the world for FIV+ cats.
